Connecticut Campers Celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Annual RV Jamboree & Campout at the Terryville Fairgrounds!

The weekend of September 19^th-21^st celebrated the 10^th Anniversary of the RV Jamboree & Campout at the Terryville Fairgrounds, sponsored by Hemlock Hill RV. This annual event brought together hundreds of camping enthusiasts and friends to raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of Connecticut .

The RV Jamboree & Campout is a weekend of non-stop activities, including BINGO, a bike rodeo, live bands, food and fun! Last year’s fundraiser brought in over $36, 000, a portion of which “adopted” the wish of young Dylan from Milford , who dreamed of going to Walt Disney World^®. Dylan’s family attended this year’s Jamboree and shared memories from their unforgettable wish experience. 

Event coordinator Ray Andro, who owns Hemlock Hill RV in Southington , has made the Jamboree possible for the last ten years.  The 10^th Anniversary was another successful year, with more dedicated campers and volunteers who continually come together to make wishes come true for Connecticut children with life-threatening medical conditions.
