Staying Connected after the Wish

You can help us share the power of a wish® 

The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Connecticut strives to make every family’s wish experience as personal and special as each individual child we serve.  We are honored to have many wish families choose to share their wish stories with us through wish pictures, thank you notes, and volunteer involvement as spokespersons for the Chapter.

We cherish and respect all of our families and sincerely appreciate the sharing of their magical and memorable wishes with us.

If you are interested in sharing your wish story with others, we would love to hear from you! Here are some of the ways you can help:

Wish Ambassador

Share the magic of the Make-A-Wish Foundation® by sharing your wish story with special event participants, volunteers, and donors. We provide the training; wish ambassadors provide the passion! Sharing your story with community, workplace and school groups inspires and motivates them to support the Foundation and helps us grant many more wishes!

Wish Storyteller

Share your wonderful memories & photos with us and help make other wishes come true. Let us spread the word about the magic of wishes through our website, newsletter, and cultivation mailings.

Wish Consultant

Your special skills and talents will be put to good use as a wish consultant. Wish consultants may help with special projects such as the Chapter newsletter, donating photography or entertainment at special events and wish celebrations, or act as translator during wish visits.  Best suits volunteers with limited but flexible time and significant expertise in a critical need area.

Wish Magician

Get involved with fund-raising events and fun wish family activities.  Wish magicians may work on event committees, solicit auction items, secure in-kind services, or help out on event day. Wish families will receive a warm welcome at several of our upcoming special events. See the event calendar or visit our website, www.ct.wish.org for dates and details!
